hmmm,
nonstop flight to seoul: departs 1:35pm friday feb 27th, 2009
interview at korean consulate in vancouver: scheduled 2:00pm friday feb 27th, 2009
...it was just so nice of the consulate to be so INCREDIBLY accomodating, knowing the absolute necessity of speedy and timely action on their part. honestly, i don't think the visa agent is even human. not even showing her our flight tickets was enough to convince her to show ANY concern.
i could maybe understand if there was ANY reason for them to delay us. you know, like we didn't bring this document, or provide that information. but, much to someone's chagrin (not sure who's yet), all required documentation and information (plus some) was provided. not only that, but we've previously contacted the consulate several times to see if there was anything we could do to speed things along. oh, btw, the answer was a big fat NOPE!
all is not lost just yet though. we will spend wednesday sitting in the office in vancouver just incase someone doesn't show up, or cancels at the last minute.
we are envisioning seas of crossed fingers.... (thanks!). ;)
